Availability

Do you sometimes feel inadequate to the things that God calls us to do? Throughout all history, God has chosen to work on Earth through His people. That is an huge responsibility, but also a great honour for the church. It can be quite easy to feel that we are not good enough. I think we all think that way some times. This morning, my Senior Pastor made a very interesting remark. He said something to the effect of "It's not so much our ability that matters, but our availability." The people who seem to be the most effective in doing God's work in this world are the ones who simply obey and make themselves available to Him.
It's worth thinking about.
